Musical Water Fountain

at Casa Colina Hospital

The Interactive Musical Water Fountain is a massively playful water harp played by exploring the individual streams of water.

“The kids absolutely loved the rainbow! They went crazy for it! How fun! I had one little girl who is very impaired and hardly plays and she was mesmerized. When it was time to go she kept stopping and looking back at the rainbow like she was in awe. It was so cool!”

Unique Sensor Design

Because the feature works by continuously sensing the distance from each hand to the source of the water stream, virtually endless different sounds can be triggered all up and down each of the five water streams in realtime.

This unique sensor design makes the experience far richer than other systems which merely measure the presence or absence of a hand.

Continuous musical feedback reacting to each of their movements encourages the children to feel and explore the water more deeply. Moving both hands all along each of the streams of water, children create new playful combinations with immediate musical results. Instrument sounds, scales, harmonies and ranges can be selected instantly to ensure each child’s sensory experiences are customizable.

Tactile joy

The sensory power of water meets customized musical experiences: this musical water feature is designed for joyful sonic explorations infused with all of the sensory-soothing tactile magic that water naturally brings.
